The AI Access Gap Is Real
…and Growing

As AI transforms the world, many young people are being left behind. High costs, poor connectivity, and a lack of support are creating a deepening divide that limits access to education, career pathways, and economic mobility.

100+

Youth Reached in Year One

In our pilot year, we are aiming to support over 100 youth across Western Canadian communities — providing hands-on AI workshops, mentorship, and access to essential tools they wouldn’t otherwise have.

20+

Mentors Engaged

Our growing network of volunteer technologists, educators, and creators gave their time and expertise — offering monthly 1:1 chats, project feedback, and job-shadowing opportunities that helped open doors for underrepresented youth.

$5,000+

In Tech Microgrants Distributed

We will fund laptops, WiFi plans, and AI tool subscriptions for students who lacked access at home — removing key barriers that often shut low-income youth out of digital learning and career paths.

Our Why

Honouring the Legacy of Patricia Chrusch-Page

The rise of artificial intelligence is opening new doors for education, careers, and economic mobility — but it’s also leaving too many behind. In Western Canada, underprivileged youth face steep barriers: high costs, poor connectivity, and a lack of mentorship. Without action, the digital divide will only grow — shutting out a generation from the opportunities of tomorrow.

AI is now essential. Yet rural, Indigenous, and low-income youth often lack devices, reliable internet, mentors, and real chances to build AI skills.

Patricia Chrusch-Page believed every young person deserves a fair shot. Inspired by her values of fairness and possibility, we’re committed to leveling the playing field for those furthest behind — providing equitable access to AI tools, education, and mentorship so no child is left behind as the world changes.
